We make machines understandable.
elvnode is young, focused, and builds Copass — so plants truly understand their machines. Local. Explainable. Designed for different machine types.
Why elvnode exists
Across industry, data is collected. Dashboards show curves, alarms sound — yet downtime still catches teams unprepared.
The problem is not missing technology. What is missing is a system that turns data into real knowledge — machine-specific, traceable, at the point of production.
That is why we build Copass. Not another monitoring tool, but a cognitive engine that builds understanding of each machine for your team, step by step.
elvnode is a young, independent business. The architecture is in place, Copass is in internal validation — and we are looking for the first partners for field testing and joint development.
The founder
Tobias Burkhart
Founder — product, architecture, and development of Copass
Tobias Burkhart comes from mechanical engineering and has more than ten years of experience across mechanical engineering and industrial environments — from development to machine connectivity. He knows the shop floor not from slides, but from real machines, control interfaces, and the daily reality between service, production, and engineering.
The idea behind Copass grew from a concrete shop-floor problem: connect machines, read signals, and form real understanding — not another dashboard with more curves. Instead of building more configuration, elvnode develops a cognitive engine that learns locally at the machine and reaches people with explainable guidance.
Today Tobias leads Copass development — architecture, preparation for field tests with plants, and conversations with manufacturers about a possible joint path. elvnode is small and focused: direct contact, honest expectations, and work on what industry actually needs.
Our path
May 2026
Origin
Copass development begins — from a shop-floor connectivity problem to a cognitive engine.
June 2026
Architecture freeze
Copass architecture under freeze. Validation in lab and internal test environment.
July 2026
Search launched
We seek first test customers and manufacturers for field testing and joint development.
Aug 2026
Across machine types
Architecture validated in internal lab scenarios across laser systems, presses, and other machine types — without machine-specific engine customization.
September 2026
elvnode starts
Business registration completed. elvnode starts as an independent business. Next focus: the first joint field test with partners.
Principles
Understanding over prediction
Systems that help people understand — not just predict.
Honesty
We only promise what we can substantiate — and work openly on what comes next.
Local and sovereign
Production knowledge belongs to the company.
Human-centered
AI informs. Humans decide.
